Tag: The truth....and nothing but the truth...

Esther & cute little Ethan tagged me on this, week ago...(paiseh...) finally got to be truth to myself at this wee hours....

1. Do you plan to have ONE more baby after Joyce?
hehehe! I love too...Joyce, so cute right? So I asked my darling-lah....and she replied me in hokkian:

"Du Kaki Se!!"
(in english means: u go and deliver one lah!!") aiyo....If I can, then don need to ask loh! ...can mah, why not? see...they so lovely..

2. Do you always scold and punish your kids?
The truth is....YES!! but in a very positive ways loh....positive reinforcement mah!! You know, Children are from Heaven oh! remember? of course, sometime, we let our emotion climbed over us, then all those theories will remained as theories lah....so sad.....

3. What do you do when you are free and alone?
Well, I will sneak into a cinema and watch any movies, Yes! Any movie that is on show at that point of time. with my right hand holding popcorn, left hand with hotdog 101...YOYO!! Oh YeS!! that will be the best thing to do during free time. BTW, when was the last time I do this huh??, sad....very sad....(bwttkk must be laughing at me now from a cinema in Langkawi)

4. What will you do when you retire?
You know, I always have this plan of running a retreat centre with say 10-15 guest rooms and some basic facilities for "pure retreat" purpose for people who want to go away form their daily chores. In this centre, I will be the chef and operator who can arrange and facilitate the retreat activities, they can come and just relax and enjoy the stillness and quiteness
of the nice surrounding.... like this one....

what do you think?

Selamat?

Have you seen the photos of the Walk for Justice? If you haven't, Screenshoots have a full photo journal here, read on!

These photos reminded me of our national anthem that goes like this:

Negaraku, tanah tumpahnya darahku,
Rakyat hidup, bersatu dan maju,
Rahmat bahagia, Tuhan kurniakan,
Raja kita, selamat bertakhta.
Rahmat bahagia, Tuhan kurniakan,
Raja kita, selamat bertakhta.

In English[1]:

Oh, My Motherland,
The Land where my life began,
Where people live in harmony and prosperity,
With God-given blessings of happiness,
Our King reigns in peace.
With God-given blessings of happiness,
Our King reigns in peace.

I believe the King will reigns in peace by "Selamatkan Badan Kehakiman", especially through the setting up of a Royal Commission to look into the rot in the judiciary since 1988.
(Read here to understand why Royal Commission instead of an Independent Panel. )

Let's us sing as we always do....

Rahmat bahagia, Tuhan kurniakan,
Raja kita, selamat bertakhta.
Rahmat bahagia, Tuhan kurniakan,
Raja kita, selamat bertakhta....

Negaraku.....

Yes, with God-given blessing of happiness, let's P.U.S.H. for Malaysia also...

Selamat Hari Kuih Bulan

月亮远看真的美 近看则千疮百孔
月亮代表人的心 看似不错却多错
上帝无条件的爱 将我的内心打开
除去心中的阻碍 让人心重放异彩
中秋节喜乐!

A Day No Pigs Would Die...

The 921 dateline came, but the pigs survive...they must be dancing right now...

but not for long as the state government set 4th Oct (104) as a new dateline for the pigs farmers, report here.

We saw this on 904, (via YouTube) we wouldn't see this scenario today..and we don't want to see this on 104 either...Would there be A Day No Pigs Would Die?

After 104, only 48,000 pigs will be allowed in Paya Mengkuang, why?

listen to the Pig Farmers Story, then read the State Government argument, and you decide....

May the Good God Bless You.....

Lucas & Matthew sung the Birthday song to bless their little sister Joyce
on her 2 years old mini birthday celebration on 18 Sept 07.

Joyce: Thank you! koko, may the good God bless you too!

After the song.....blow the candle, cut the cake...but cannot find the plate, kakaka!!

Finally got it...hmmmmm, so delicious!!

more photos here.

Final: Joyce

HAHAHAHA! Papa (again): Good girl..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Round #2: Matthew

Haha! Papa: Good boy....

Round #1: Lucas 50:50

Round #1 Lucas Win!

Susah hati, lagi!

FIRST: Dogs

The Majlis Perbandaran Selayang (MPJ) organized a contest for people to catch and hand in stray dogs in the area. The prizes for the winners of the contest seem lucrative — first prize winner gets RM 15,000, second prize is RM 13,000 and third prize is RM 11,000 details website here.

Bwttkk cry and say: Why lah? Dogs is not haram what? They so cute, you know.

BTW, muslim vet student in UPM do handling ‘haram’ animals such as pigs and dogs, and the lecturer Dr. Mohd Dzulhamka explained that handling pigs and dogs are actually not ‘haram’, as stated by some overzealous people. In summary, it is ‘haram’ to consume the flesh of the stated animals, but to care for them especially when they are brought to you, is not, details here.

Look at Ting Tong, how beautiful she is...

After huge public outcry and strong objections from the Dog-lovers, now they wants to implant dogs with computer chips. Dogs saved.....but the struggle continues....more dogs here...

SECOND: Pigs

This year may be a year of Boar, but in Melaka, the pig brother are not celebrating it. Because on Sept 21 (921), they will scream and cry for help.....more reports here and here. Context here 1, 2, 3, 4.

If allowed, they will flee Melaka like this:

better still if they can fly to a safe place like this:

because if they don't do so, they will be slaughtered...

a state nobody will want to see....

MCA's MP for P138 Kota Melaka said he don't agree with the State Government, but how bout his colleagues in the government? N19 Kesidang and N16 Ayer Keroh? They said they've done their best, but Lim Kit Siang didn't agree and he said: Your best is not good enough!!

Let's hope that on 921, it'll be A Day No Pigs Would Die

Sakit Hati!

The recent developments in and outside the country made Heart2Heart sakit hati....

First:

Foreign Minister Syed Hamid Albar was questioned and grilled over issues related to the rights of Indian-Malaysians and non-Malays, and their rights in choosing religions. here:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsa/n5ctrl/progs/07/hardtalk/albar13sep.ram

so said he is exemplary Malaysian government leader -- rude, arrogant, condescending and in denial. More context here.

Second:

UPM Students vs. UPM staff, again!! (Remember the infamous 50 UPM bullies?)

This time a staff member of the student affairs department (HEP) in Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Serdang, raided the hostel room of a first-year student, who is the member of a particular student grouping. He was interrogated until 1am, and his laptop, handphone, MP4 player, 2 pendrives, leaflets and personal documents were confiscated.

The HEP staff, commanded by a UPM personnel identified as Jamali of the Unit Tugas Khas, left without giving any written acknowledgment of the items confiscated. The following morning, other students went to the HEP office and demanded that the university's personnel give the raided student a written acknowledgment. See video here. More reports here, here and here.

and Heart2Heart says: sakit hati..........

11.9.1997

11.9.1997, we received this from a good friend

Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
