I Don't Like This, Too!
A situation in which inflation and economic stagflation occur simultaneously and remain uncheckable for a period of time....
If this come to our shore, then we'll have a situation of price of goods & services never go down (although Petrol price already gone down) and the economy is running into recession (retrenchment of workers, unemployment and stagnate/slow economic growth)
So how? Are the risks of Stagflation high? May be yes, may be no....we can only pray...P.U.S.H. Here are some prayer items you might want to endorse:
1. Ask God to Help, seek His intervention
2. Back to Biblical Value
3. Pray for Accountability
4. Pray for the Business Community
5. Pray for the Power of Serving Each Other
6. Teach the Youths to Shift their Dependency
7. Grow Deep for Stormy Days Ahead.

I Don't Like This!!

Gila kah? I don't agree with their argument of "setting floor price (RM3) that would encourage the prudent use of petrol, promote the use of public transport and push for development in alternative energy."
MANA BOLEH!

Or they have forgotten the last time government raised the fuel price to RM2.70, inflation shoot up to 8.5%, Nasi lemak increased to RM1.50 and don't forget government is allowing the public transport to increase 30% of fare!! Public transport? Susahlah!
I think FOMCA should think of how to convince Tenaga to reduce their tariff instead of such "gila" proposal of floor price RM3 for petrol!

Come on lah! FREE THE MARKET, NO PRICE FLOOR, WE DON"T WANT TO PAY FUEL TAX!!!

I like this one!

Those who knows us will know how difficult it's to get all of the kids to come together for a family photo. This one was taken by Eunice when we were celebrating our boys' outstanding performance at the school at DaoRae, Kepong (again).
Ha! the boys love Korean's food.

More photos here.

I "SUAKU" or WHAT??!!

I had a rude culture shock this morning when I turned up for breakfast at the Beach Rotana hotel. The first food counter I walked past was labelled P O R K. It was situated alongside other food counters serving an array of international and regional guests.

I admit that I am very "suaku" because I never (and can never?) see this in any hotel in my beloved Malaysia, I am suaku, I know....

..but they said Malaysia are very open?

Boleh kah?
Pak Lah is handing over his job to Najib, immediately someone told me he voted BN on 308 because he trusted Abdullah to reform and revamp the whole system. And I believe many people "thought" that way too, and therefore they also gave him the mandate.
But now, everything gone the other way round. They (UMNO, BN the coaliation and its component parties, basically a small group of "decision makers") agreed to let him go and Najib to take over. So now tell me, those who voted for BN because of Pak Lah can be considered "kena tipu"? or what? The "election" is "main-main" saja and "our voice" is not important? or what?
Consider this:
UMNO has 79 kerusi, other parties 61, in total BN has 140; whereas Pakatan Rakyat (PR) has 81 kerusi. So the PM & DPM should be decided by UMNO or BN? or
UMNO 79; PR 81 + others 61 = 142 become Pkatan Baru, then Pakatan Baru should decide the next PM & DPM?UMNO has 78: PR 81 + others 61 + Tengku Razaleigh 1 = 143, then Anwar and Tengku Razaleigh become PM & DPM?Whichever way it's done, the "General Election" is not relevant in deciding who you want to be the PM or DPM! The rakyat can just sit there in the kedai kopi and make some noise and at the end of the day, you and I have no say in the whole process.
Already the economy is "so good" and our "pocket" is "bocor" and others is looking for ways and means to survive the "crisis" and here they are still fighting for the "job", ai....susah hati...
(btw, is your "Yang Berkhidmat" still around ar? or they have gone MIA?)
